| | | | News & Events | | CopperDragon Night at Signature Sales Once again, our friends at Dragonsmeade joined with us for CopperDragon night at Jim and Jenny Taylor's Signature Sale. We thank everyone for their interest and support and wish them all well with their new purchases.
While we don't have all the names of the buyers, we congratulate Jay Kleiber and Julie Ouska of Ridgewood Farm on their astute selection of CBMF Just One Kiss, a four year old daughter of Centerpiece and Cabot French Kiss. And our friends at Dragonsmeade took home MEM Bluelight, a daughter of the great show and broodmare, Miss Bluegrass. Beth Lynn Hoskins added to her collection with CBMF Flashpoint and Kim Swartz returned to breeding by purchasing Groovey Girl, a mare she bred.
You'll be happy to know that we still have some nice horses left to sell. Please contact us if you have interest. |

Ridgewood Farm selects PAF Ecstasy Congratulations to our friends at Ridgewood on their selection of PAF Ecstasy. I understand that Jay has claimed her as HIS show horse and then "Stacey" (although I understand her barn name is now "Hailey") will ultimately join the select broodmares at RWF. We have always loved this mare and look forward to cheering her on in the ring being on the rail cheering for her as she takes Jay for his victory passes. |

We welcome our new foal, CBMF Wicked Wisdom We are very excited to welcome the first foal of our great park mare, Something Wicked. Her embryo transfer recipient mare foaled a bay filly on February 19th. We have been anxiously awaiting this cross and all reports are that the filly is exceptional. No pictures yet but they will be coming. |

| | | CBMF Prodigy at three weeks | | CBMF Prodigy is off to Canada Thank you and congratulations to Don Porter of Nova Scotia who came for a visit, looked at all the foals and went home with CBMF Prodigy. Prodigy is a 3/4 brother to CBMF Ruling Class as they are both by GLB Bell Pepper and Prodigy is out of The Gifted Touch, a 1/2 sister to CEN Can't Touch This. We wish Don the best of luck with this nice yearling colt and hope to hear news of his many blue ribbons on the Canadian show circuit. |

Copper Beech honored with Breeders Awards We are honored to have been inducted to the AMHA Breeders Hall of Fame at the AMHA February 2008 convention. We are happy to be recognized among the ranks of many of our great friends in the Morgan breeding world who have received this award.
We were also very pleased to be the People's Choice Breeder of the Year for 2007. Thank you to all who voted for us.
These indications of support for our breeding program are very encouraging and we will continue to endeavor to produce the kind of Morgans that make us all proud in the show ring and in our barns and backyards. |

| | | CBMF Reconnaissance in June 2007 | | Congratulations to Beth Lynne Hoskins of Eden Farm Our congratulations and thanks to Beth Lynne on her purchase of RRG Flash Dance and her 2007 colt, CBMF Reconnaissance by War and Peace. Beth has been consistently interested in these bloodlines as Reconnaissance is a full brother to her current stallion, Regal Charade. We are excited that she is adding these two great horses to her program and are thankful that they have a great home with Beth Lynne at Eden Farm. |
